Your Ticket To Downtown Deals!

Exciting changes are going on in Downtown Seattle! In 2007, the tunnel will reopen to buses. In 2009, light rail trains will pull up to stations every six minutes to take passengers to Downtown Seattle, the stadiums, Beacon Hill, the Rainier Valley, Tukwila, and the airport. Light rail will link to bus and train services, connecting Central Puget Sound with one regional mass transit system.

During light rail construction, the Shop, Dine & Ride Guide is your ticket to deals at shops, theatres, restaurants, and entertainment venues throughout Downtown Seattle. Not only will you save time and money on parking by taking advantage of Seattle's ferry, bus and train services, you'll also find great bargains in this guide.

All you need is a Shop, Dine & Ride Guide and a valid transit pass or transfer to redeem these deals. Merchants will accept any valid transit pass, ticket, transfer or regional reduced fare permit. Ferry and train passes and tickets are also eligible. A new Shop, Dine & Ride Guide will be published every six months, in February and August from 2005 through 2007. Guides are available at Downtown Metro information racks, Pacific Place, The Transportation Connection, the Downtown Seattle Association office and the Sound Transit office. Select buses and merchants are also carrying guides.

So pick up a latte at a new café while heading into work or try that restaurant you've been eyeing for months.
